Life with Health Issues

Sometimes, life throws issues at us, we sometimes and I mean we sometimes don’t know why we must face it. Why am I talking in the “we” and “us” but not I? It is hard to express the healthy side of authoring a book when it is mostly a seated position. Sitting and typing is really what other authors and I do, and as authors, we love to write our books. Even though I say that it is a seated position, I come up with issues such as health issues for myself. This is the reason I say sometimes, because I’m trying to say plainly and logically that Life Issues can include health issues. The health issues I have are mine. In a way, health issues for other authors are also a part of their health issues. I feel that issues, especially your health, are important for all of us, my readers and my subscribers.

I feel it every day; the pain I feel is not as bad as it gets for me. I think about moving forward and keep writing even though this second post is such that I wonder why I tolerate the life of pain that started when I was ten. Life is a mistress that tries to give us issues that can be very hard to understand or live with. The issues I live with every day are numbing the pain threshold I have built over most of my life. Dealing with these issues is entirely about relaxing the mind and dealing with the pain. Meditation is a thing I learned from a guru whom I called. Grasping the concept of emptying the bucket while accepting that life has its challenges and issues. Every day, I have certain things to work on while keeping in mind that I’m not alone.

None of us is alone. There is always the belief in someone greater who is the grand architect of doing right–God. Indeed, I understand that my pursuit of truth has always been about remembering my human nature, along with my family and friends. Is that enough? Yes, and no. I know this threat of darkness is a metaphor that envelops us, even though the delicate hairs on the nape of our necks prickle with the chill of that fear.

To thwart the darkness of fear is to write the stories that I compile. This is my sole reason I write. Finding truth in life is akin to fantasy and understanding that there is a balance in the acceptance of that darkness of fear. It is not a matter of who is right or wrong, good or bad, but the knowledge of knowing that someone is there for anybody. I, for one, will always listen to the wind. Just know I hear you. Ah, that is my weird side: my love for Speculative Fiction is A Genre for Every Genre¹.

It is like my health issues—my pain is the darkness that maintains my equilibrium, and thinking of it in a positive light makes me ignore the facts. While I have my own concerns, my family and friends are struggling with their separate issues. On the third rock from the sun, in the temperate Goldilocks zone we call home, every individual faces challenges like cancer, essential tremor, a bad day, or the flu, each bringing a unique sense of discomfort or fatigue. Like I said in the last three paragraphs,–God–for me is showing that as being a human population of 8.3 billion with all issues have grow and we know we are not alone and I mean this, we are all different at that but the lesson is one simple answer getting along for the betterment of us all. I understand that beneath this sun, we experience heat, and the air we breathe appears to diminish the sensations we as humans typically feel. Yet I recognise that everyone endures suffering for a brief period, while some endure pain far beyond what most could bear.

I am one of those who can bear that pain; above, I’m used to that pain. It is this pain that I can describe as if it’s a path I am on, and to understand that my lot in this life is for humanity. I want my readers and subscribers to understand that a person like me lives with my disability², my pain, my demons, my sacrifice, my love of life, and my sense of being balanced, knowing that I am also bad, crazy and weird. I realise I am both right and wrong often, and the opposite is also true. I think my experiences have given me enough insight into people to develop a storyline and theme for a book that could develop into a series.
